Scott was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in November 2007 after graduating from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, DE earlier that year, where he focused on civil litigation, contract law, and trial work, and received a public service distinction upon graduation. He is also admitted in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.  Scott lives on Hilton Head with his wife and daughter.  He is a member the Hilton Head Bar Association, the Beaufort County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  He is also an active member of the Hilton Head Rugby Club.

Originally from Virginia, Tracy has 30+ years of administrative experience in both legal and engineering office environments. A resident of Bluffton, she relocated to the Lowcountry in 2013 from Illinois and joined Scott as his Legal Assistant in April of 2014. Tracy has three grown sons and is a big Dave Matthews Band fan, usually attending several shows each year. A passionate traveler, she has journeyed to Europe several times, Canada, the Caribbean, and most of the United States.
